Stockyard Gully Caves

Head out to Stockyard Gully Caves

At the right time of year you may even catch the fields in bloom

Sandy Cape is a small camping spot 14km north of Jurien Bay. It is located just behind a small sand dune, which opens up onto a magnificent beach. Good spot to spend a day.

To get to Sandy Cape drive through Jurien bay, along the Indian Ocean Road. 14 kilometres outside of Jurien bay turn left onto a white track and follow it to the end. 4WD will be required on some of the softer tracks and beach area.

Another side trip worth planing on your way to Stockyard Gully Caves is a drive through the Lesueur National Park.
How to get there - head North out of Jurien Bay and turn right into Jurien Road. At Cockleshell Gully Road turn left and carry on straight until you see the sign for the Lesueur senic drive

You need to pay a minimal entrance fee and sign in before you take the senic drive
and then onto Stockyard Gully Caves.

A bit of local widelife

The flies can get bad in summer, so be prepared

And here is the entrance to one of the large caves. You can walk through to the other side, about 300m all the way through. It get pitch black, so take a torch.
